That $150 Amazon crane camera system was a total waste of money for me

I bought a wireless camera kit from some no-name brand online hoping to spot load shifts on blind picks, but the signal dropped every time the boom moved on my 60 ton Grove, has anyone found a budget setup that actually works?

Actually those cheap wireless camera kits are usually 2.4GHz only and crane cabs and booms are basically a giant signal killer. You'd want something with a hardwired option or at least a wired backup for the camera head. I'd save up for a proper camera system from a crane parts supplier, the tech support alone is worth it when you're on a jobsite.
