Serious question, hitting my prompt goal has me totally confused

I finally wrote a story for every prompt this week. It felt great, but I don't get why some prompts sparked ideas right away. What do you think a good prompt needs to start a story?

A strong prompt gives you one clear image or question to build from.

Yeah, and it's wild how much time that saves. A messy prompt makes the AI guess, and you get something random back. But one clear picture in your head, translated into simple words, gives the tool a solid target to hit. It's the difference between saying "draw a dog" and "draw a happy golden retriever puppy sitting in a sunny garden." That detail right there cuts out a ton of wrong answers on the first try.
