That collections agent who said 'minimum payments are a trap' back in 2009, she was right all along
I used to pay just the minimum on my Visa card from a bank in Phoenix for almost 5 years until that lady on the phone flat out told me I'd be 62 before it cleared, so I switched to paying double the minimum every month and my score went from 612 to 731 in about 14 months, has anyone else had a stranger's blunt comment completely reframe their whole payoff plan?

Takes a random person saying one true thing to flip your whole mindset, funny how we ignore the obvious until a stranger spells it out for us.
