Walked into the credit union I've used since 1998 and barely recognized the place
They swapped out all the teller windows for these big self-service kiosks and I stood there like a lost puppy for a minute trying to figure out how to check my balance. Has anyone else seen their local branch change this fast or is mine just ahead of the curve?

Bet they'll get rid of the drive-thru tellers next, that's what I'm worried about.

Bigger banks have been thinning out tellers for years now, @joseph529, so cutting drive-thru ones wouldn't be a huge shock. Is a lane that lets you talk to someone through a speaker and a drawer really that sacred? Seems like they could just use an ATM for deposits and call it a day. I'm not losing sleep over it until they start taking away the coffee machines in lobbies.
