The moment I realized I was the problem at the returns desk for 4 years
I used to get so mad at the Best Buy near my house in Phoenix for denying my warranty claims, but last week I found out I was just chucking the receipt in my glove box without checking the 14 day return window. Turns out the employee kept pointing at the policy sign behind me and I just assumed she was being rude. Has anyone else accidentally been the annoying customer by not reading the fine print?

Nah I was the same way. That sign must be invisible.

Wait, how long did it take you to actually read the policy sign that was literally right behind the employee? I had a similar moment at Target returning a blender with no box, just kept saying "I don't have the original packaging" and the guy kept tapping the fine print on the receipt. Honestly felt like a certified clown when I finally noticed the 30 day policy right in my face. Tbh those signs are designed to blend in with the store decor or something.
