Shoutout to the bank teller who flagged my elderly neighbor's strange wire transfer last fall

She pulled me aside at the branch on Elm Street and quietly said, 'Your neighbor was trying to send six thousand dollars to someone she met online last week,' and that one sentence made me realize how many scams slip through if nobody speaks up has anyone else had a bank employee save someone they know?

Used to think tellers were just cash handlers but not anymore.

Tellers at the Elm Street branch saved my aunt from a similar thing last year. @joseph_hunt, I used to think they just count cash too but now I totally get it.
