That $30 password manager just saved my whole digital life
I got a weird email last week saying my main email password was changed. I panicked, but my password manager had flagged it as a reused password from a site that got hacked. I paid about $30 for a year of the service. It auto-filled a unique, strong password for every account, so the hacker couldn't get into anything else. Has anyone else had a close call like this and found a good free option that works just as well?

Glad it worked for you, that's a legit scary feeling. Honestly, the free ones are fine for basics but they usually lock the good stuff behind a paywall, like sharing logins securely or advanced breach reports. Paying a few bucks a month is worth it for the peace of mind, like insurance for your whole online life. I'd rather skip a couple coffees than risk my bank account or photos getting cleaned out. Once you see how many times your info is already floating around from old leaks, you won't want to go back.

Totally agree, seeing those old breach reports makes you realize how cheap that monthly fee really is.
