Found out today my grandpa's old hammer from the 1950s is worth more than my entire tool collection
Was cleaning out his garage last weekend and noticed a stamp on the handle, googled it, and apparently some collectors pay $200+ for a rusty Estwing that still works fine, has anyone else found random junk that turned out to be valuable?

Wait, $200 for a rusty hammer? Did you sell it yet?

I used to think old tools were just junk nobody wanted... but seeing what some of that vintage stuff goes for really changed my mind. I had an old Stanley plane from my uncle gathering dust in the shed, figured it was worthless. Looked it up after reading this and someone offered me $150 for it just because it had the original box. Now I check every rusty thing before I toss it, you never know what's actually hiding in plain sight.
