My apprentice called my fuel line routing 'spaghetti from a horror movie'

He was right, it was a mess behind the injection pump on a 6.7 Powerstroke. I started using zip ties and labeling every line, which saved me 15 minutes on the next one. How do you guys keep your engine bays tidy?

Honestly, that's how most people learn. We all have a disaster area phase before we figure out a system. Good on you for actually listening to the kid and fixing it.

Disaster area phase" seems a bit much. It's just a messy room, not a real crisis. Most kids figure out their own way to clean up without it being some big life lesson.
