PSA: Bought a $50 'universal' EGR delete kit online and it was a box of random bolts and a gasket
Tried to install it on a 6.7 Powerstroke and the fit was so bad I had to order the OEM part anyway. Anyone else get burned by a 'one size fits all' diesel part that fits nothing?

Oh man, that's the classic universal part gamble. I swear those kits are just a box of leftover hardware from some guy's garage floor. It's like they think a 6.7 Powerstroke, a Duramax, and a lawnmower all share the same bolt pattern. You end up with a gasket that almost fits and three mystery washers that go to a kitchen sink.

Right? The "almost fits" gasket is the worst part. It feels like everything from furniture to tech is just close enough to be annoying now.
