My laptop charger died in the middle of nowhere in Chiang Mai

Honestly, it happened two days ago while I was working from a cafe up in the mountains. The power brick just sparked and went dead. I had 18% battery left and no spare. I had to pack up, find a songthaew back into the city center, and spent about $35 on a new universal charger from a random tech stall. It was a stressful few hours trying to get everything sorted before my next client call. Anyone else had a critical piece of gear fail in a tough spot?

Did you manage to make that client call on time?

Barely made it, but the call went fine. Turns out they were running late too, which was a nice bit of luck. Guess sometimes timing works out on its own.

Funny how that works. I'm always early for stuff and end up waiting around. Maybe being a little late is the real pro move. Saves you from sitting in an empty room.
