I compared cheap vinyl flooring to mid-grade LVP for my basement in Cleveland
The cheap stuff started peeling at the seams after just 6 months while the mid-grade LVP looked perfect after 2 years of heavy foot traffic, so stop skimping on that price gap. Anyone else regret going budget on flooring?
Read in a contractor forum that cheap laminate is basically just printed paper glued to MDF. One guy said his floor literally separated from the backing in 18 months. Paying a little more upfront beats replacing it all later.
