My saw blade just hit 5000 cuts and the teeth are still sharp
I was doing a big trim job in a Seattle condo and had to cut a ton of oak. I kept track out of curiosity and hit 5000 cuts on my Diablo blade before I felt any real drag. I was sure it would be toast at 3000. Anyone else have a tool or part that lasted way longer than you thought it would?

My buddy's old Ford pickup hit 300,000 miles on the original clutch. We were all waiting for it to go, but it just kept working. He finally sold the truck and it was still fine.

Those old Ford clutches were built different. My uncle's F-150 made it to 280k before the slave cylinder gave out, but the clutch plate itself was still good. Some things just refuse to die.
