Spent a full weekend just trying to level my garage floor
Everyone says to just pour self-leveling compound and it's a two-hour job. My floor in the old house had a huge dip in the corner, about 3 inches deep over 4 feet. I spent Friday night cleaning and prepping, then Saturday mixing and pouring. The first batch just pooled and didn't flow right. I had to chip it out, let it dry, and start over on Sunday. The whole thing took me three days, not two hours. What's the most time you've lost on a simple sounding garage project?

Honestly that sounds like a normal weekend project to me. Those two hour estimates are for perfect, new construction slabs. You had a real problem and you fixed it, three days is fine.
