Vent: Getting asked to repair stuff during family dinners is getting old
It's like once people know you can solder, every gathering turns into a free clinic, lol.

Yeah but a lot of the time they just want you to look at a loose wire or put in a new battery. Actual soldering is pretty rare in my experience.

Actually have to break out the iron pretty often at my place, you get that too?

Cotton shirts come out of the dryer looking like a crumpled paper ball. I iron them while they're still a bit cold and damp, it makes the wrinkles fall out faster. Dress pants get the steam treatment on the highest setting to really sharpen those creases. Checking the fabric tag first saves you from melting anything.
