Shoutout to the old timer in Philly who said 'listen to the car, not the call sheet'

We were stuck on a weird intermittent door fault in a 90s Dover, and he just put his hand on the guide rail and waited. He said 'the shake tells you more than any fault code.' Ever since, I spend the first five minutes just watching and feeling the run. Anyone else have a simple trick that beats the computer every time?

Yeah, that's a solid move. I still do the same thing with a stethoscope on a motor, you can hear a bearing starting to go long before the vibration sensors trip.

Sometimes the machine just tells you what it needs.

Sounds like a bit much honestly. Even @christopherj63 with his stethoscope is probably just hearing normal motor noise.
