Just realized I've done 50 dermaplaning services this quarter and I'm honestly shocked.

It's a simple add-on but my clients in the suburbs really love it, so what other quick services have you found that clients keep booking?

Right, because apparently we're all just simmering in a slow-cooker of low-effort dopamine hits. We've got face stubble scraping, fancy foam on top of brown sugar water, and hot towels for a neck that's probably fine. Next thing you know, people will be paying extra to have their shoe laces threaded in a different pattern or for someone to crack a single knuckle for a quarter. It's the same hustle with a different name, just a bunch of tiny little add-ons that trick people into feeling like they treated themselves without actually doing anything real.

Notice how people are always looking for little upgrades that fit into their routine. Like how my barber added a five minute hot towel neck treatment that everyone books now, or how my nail place does a quick paraffin wax dip for an extra five bucks. It's that same idea of a small, satisfying treat that doesn't take much time but feels like a big win. What's another service like that you've seen blow up?

Watch coffee shops add a tiny shot of flavored cold foam on top of iced drinks for a dollar. It takes seconds to make but makes a basic coffee feel fancy and people post it everywhere. My local spot can't keep up with the foam orders now.
