God, yeah, that part was just brutal to watch. I counted probably like fifty nails he had to pull out one by one, and every single time he yanked one free I cringed a little harder. It's one thing to hear about someone getting hurt but actually seeing the whole process drag out like that really gets to you. I honestly don't know how the guy stayed so calm through it all, I woulda been screaming my head off. Hope he's doing okay now after all that.

It reminds me of when we switched internet providers a few years back (total nightmare, don't get me started). They had this whole tiered pricing thing where new customers got this amazing deal but us old timers were stuck paying double. I actually called them up and said listen, I know you're doing the new client thing but can you just bump me up to the next speed for the same price I'm paying now? They actually did it, which was surprising. Point being, sometimes you gotta poke around the edges of whatever system they've got, you know?
