My buddy's wife texts me skin pics at midnight for free advice
She knows I'm an esthetician, but sending close-ups of her pores when I'm trying to sleep is too much. It makes me feel like my job isn't respected outside the shop. What's the best way to tell people that after-hours consults aren't okay?

My cousin emailed me a blurry photo of her rash at 2 AM last Tuesday. She was hoping for free medical advice, but I'm not a doctor, so my best guess was 'alien encounter.' In the end, free advice is often worth exactly what you pay for it.
