Honestly thought fixing a leaky basement pipe would be a Saturday job, but it took almost a month and three different plumbers to finally stop the drip.

Ngl, the first guy just patched it, the second said we needed a whole new section, and the third finally found the real issue was a cracked fitting behind the wall that nobody checked.

What did the third plumber do differently to find that hidden crack? It's crazy how the first two just went for the obvious fix without really looking. Did you end up paying all three of them, or just the one who solved it? That kind of runaround is exactly why people hate hiring contractors sometimes.

Forget the crack, how did you even find a third plumber willing to show up after the first two failed? I'm more amazed by that. Did the third guy charge a full diagnostic fee on top of the repair, or did he see the whole mess and give you a break? The real cost is always in the call-outs.
