inThat $5 scalp massager from the beauty supply saved my wrists
Got to be honest, I think people are way too quick to jump on these gadgets before they really know what's wrong. A cheap massage tool can do more harm than good if you're using it on the wrong spot or too aggressively. I've seen folks make their tendonitis way worse by just pressing too hard with a little plastic thing, thinking it's helping when it's actually inflaming things more. Sometimes a simple ice pack and proper rest beats any five dollar fix, especially if you haven't seen a doctor yet. Just my take, but I'd rather be safe than sorry with something that can mess up your hands for good.

inA fan told me my pacing was too slow back in 2017
Fan told me my pacing was slow so I just added more ads. Really got the viewer engagement up.

inMy mentor said I was wasting money on Google Ads, he was right
Yeah the "you live and you learn" part is so true but I feel like that's exactly the point of having a mentor lol. It's not that they're telling you stuff you couldn't figure out eventually, it's that they save you the expensive lesson first. Kind of like how people will ignore the label on their shampoo that says to rinse and repeat but then wonder why their hair is gross after one wash haha. We all have that thing where we think we know better until we prove ourselves wrong with our own wallet. Sometimes hearing it from someone else is the only way to get past that stubborn part of your brain.

inHonestly, I just realized my old 0-degree bag has kept me warm through 27 nights below freezing, and that's a number I never expected to hit.
My buddy tried the same thing with a 40 dollar sleeping bag in the Adirondacks and woke up with frost on his eyebrows after night two. Sometimes you just get a weird batch of gear that punches way above its price tag.

inUnpopular opinion: that new coffee shop downtown is way overpriced for what you get
You gotta ask them to pull it shorter if you go with the drip. I learned that trick after my third bitter cup in a row. The barista told me they roast their beans dark and the water sits too long in the machine. So now I just say "light pour, please" and it comes out way smoother, almost like a normal coffee. Still not worth seven bucks in my book but at least it's drinkable. Give it a shot next time you're on Elm, it might save you from that burnt taste.
