I finally stood my ground on mandatory break times.
Everyone says working non-stop gets more done, but I've found that scheduled pauses cut down on costly re-dos.

So many people push through without stopping, right? It's like we're taught that grinding equals success, but then mistakes pile up. Ever notice how the best work often comes after stepping away for a bit? Mandatory breaks force that pause we might not take ourselves. Why do we have to learn the hard way that resting isn't lazy?

Guess we all love to wear burnout like a medal of honor. Nothing says productive like staring at a screen until your eyes cross and making dumb mistakes. Then we spend twice as long fixing what we messed up because we were too proud to take five. Mandatory breaks are like forcing a kid to eat vegetables, but hey, it works. We wouldn't stop on our own because we're too busy proving how tough we are. So now we need rules to save us from our own stupidity.

Remember my boss bragging about his 80-hour weeks like it was a good thing.
