LED bulbs vs old incandescents when the fixture won't stop flickering

120Hz mains frequency is the real culprit here, not the bulb type. A lot of cheap LED drivers don't have enough capacitance to smooth out that 60Hz AC ripple from your wall power. Get a higher quality bulb with a bigger capacitor bank inside, it'll cost maybe $3 more but the flicker will vanish.

Try a Philips bulb, sister. Fixed mine right up.
