Working from a van doesn't need all that gear... a laptop and coffee shop wifi do the trick. Fancy setups just create more problems.

Totally with you @clark.cole! My friend set up a whole solar system in his van and spent MORE time fixing it than working. Last week his inverter fried during a video call, what a mess. Another guy I know had his fancy router overheat and die on a road trip. Now he just hits coffee shops like me, way less stress. Simple means you actually get stuff done without the headache.

Honestly, I used to dream about a full van office with solar panels and a strong signal booster. Then my buddy's cooling system for his server rack failed on a hot day, wiped his hard drive. Saw him stress for months over replacements. That kinda stuff made me rethink the whole thing. Now I'm team coffee shop wifi, way less hassle and more actual work gets done, lol.
