My sister-in-law just dropped off three chairs and assumed I'd strip and stain them for nothing. I'm torn between helping and getting paid. What would you do?

Last summer my cousin left a dresser at my place assuming I'd fix it up. I used to just say yes to stuff like that to be nice... but doing that one favor meant she started telling everyone I was her free restoration service. It totally changed how I see these asks. Now I'd be honest and say you'd love to help but your time and materials have real cost.
