Finally broke 225 on bench after 6 months of grinding

I've been stuck at 205 for what felt like forever... then last Tuesday I just went for it and hit 225 for one clean rep. What surprised me was looking up the stats online, turns out only about 1 in 7 regular gym goers can bench their own bodyweight at that level. I'm not a big guy either, 175 pounds soaking wet, so it felt pretty good. Anyone else have a number they finally cracked after thinking they never would?

@sandra916 man that deadlift 315 moment hits different, but you forgot the real flex is how long your forearms stay pumped after.

Bro. 225 is no joke especially at 175 bodyweight. That's actually insane when you think about it. I remember finally hitting 315 on deadlift and I swear I looked around the gym like I had just won the lottery lmao. It's funny how those numbers mess with your head for months and then one day your body just decides it's time. Congrats on the milestone, that's a legit milestone. Now you get to chase 235 for the next 6 months lol.
