That podcast about electrical gremlins changed my mind on selling my car

I was about to list my 2015 Mazda 3 after the radio kept turning on by itself at 3am. Then I heard this mechanic on the "Car Talk Confessions" podcast mention how bad grounds can cause weird phantom electronics issues, specifically in models with the 2.0L engine. I spent $12 on a new ground strap at AutoZone in Akron and the radio hasn't acted up in two weeks. Anyone else have a car fix that was way cheaper than expected?

Ha, those ground straps get blamed for everything but man they really do fix stuff sometimes.

@logan648 maybe the gremlins ARE the bad luck and people just get confused about cause versus effect.
