That talk with my dad about his old Chevy still sticks with me

He said the car would hum a specific tune only when he was about to get pulled over. I laughed it off until my own radio static started acting weird right before a cop passed me last Tuesday. Anyone else's car give them weird warnings like that?

Gotta call total coincidence on this one lol. Cars make weird noises all the time - my old Accord started clicking like a typewriter every time I drove past a gas station, but it just needed a belt adjustment. Unless your dad's Chevy was literally wired to detect police radar back in the day, your radio static is probably just bad reception from a loose antenna or something. I mean, last week I swore my check engine light blinked in morse code but nope, just a loose gas cap lol.

Bet your Accord never got high on leaded fumes like some old cars did though. My buddy had a 78 Trans Am that would crank up the static every time he passed a cop. Turned out the antenna was picking up radar interference from the cruiser's electronics. Loose gas cap things are real too, but so are cars that talk back when they want to. You ever smell burning oil after a long drive and know exactly what your engine is saying?
