Showerthought: I found out yesterday that the average person in 1950 walked over 3 miles a day without even thinking about it | No Sweat Workouts - Rigidtalk
Right? Its crazy how people act like we somehow LOST the ability to walk. I read that same fact and laughed because my granddad talks about walking a mile to school in the snow uphill both ways. Last week I walked to the grocery store which is exactly 1.2 miles round trip and my phone buzzed about my "achievement". Pretty sure he walked that just to get the morning paper.
