Cracked handles on mugs drove me crazy until I changed my attachment technique.
I started scoring and slipping more thoroughly and now my handles stay intact after firing.

Hmm, @sean_rivera26, I get your point but I see it another way. Sure, tiny fixes work sometimes, but a whole process often needs more than that. Like with clay, drying isn't just an adjustment you make, it's a separate thing that can't be rushed. Trying to speed it up causes real problems, like cracks, that no quick change can fix. It shows you have to respect each step on its own. So it's less about one small tweak and more about seeing the whole picture.

Wait, that's not quite the same thing though. Drying is its own whole step, not really a process adjustment like scoring more. You can't rush clay drying without causing cracks. It's why thick handles need extra time, they hold more water. The fix in the post is about the physical join, not the drying schedule.
