The neighbor's satellite dish took me 6 weeks to figure out who it belonged to

I noticed this old dish just hanging loose off a tree branch near the creek behind my house. Nobody claimed it for like a month, so I finally climbed up there to take it down myself. Has anyone else dealt with random junk on their property that nobody will admit to leaving?

I spent two whole weekends trying to figure out why I had a random satellite dish bolted to my shed that nobody would claim. Turns out the previous owner put it up to watch football in the backyard ten years ago and just forgot about it. Made me feel real clever when I finally pried it off and realized I could've just asked the neighbor across the street who's lived here forever. That's my luck, always solving problems that don't exist.

Oh man, that is exactly the kind of headache I'd end up with. Did you at least get some satisfaction from finally getting it down? It's wild how long random stuff can just sit there before someone actually takes responsibility for it. I swear half the junk in my yard came from a previous tenant who just vanished into thin air.
