Unpopular opinion: My gym's free consultation changed how I eat everything

I showed up for a free diet consult at my local Planet Fitness last Tuesday, expecting the same old 'eat less, move more' talk. Instead, the trainer had me write down everything I ate for three days and then showed me I was eating 1,200 calories just in granola bars and coffee creamer. She said, 'You're not overeating, you're under-eating the right stuff.' That one sheet of paper convinced me to swap my morning bars for actual eggs and oatmeal. Now I'm down 8 pounds in 3 weeks without starving myself. Has anyone else had a consult that totally flipped your approach?

Did you keep eating the same meals just different times of day?

That's actually a really solid question and honestly yeah, for a while I just shifted my whole eating schedule around like a few hours. It felt so weird at first, like my body was confused about when it was supposed to be hungry or not. Definitely had some rough moments where I'd be starving at 2am because my meal times got all mixed up. It's nice to hear someone else is dealing with the same kind of struggle, makes me feel less alone in the chaos.
