I called Japanese tissue paper a waste of money for spine linings

For years I stuck with regular acid-free paper from my local art store in Austin, thinking the fancy imported stuff was just hype. Then I tried a sheet of 9g/m2 Sekishu paper on a repair job for a 1920s poetry book, and the way it folded and held paste without bubbling changed my mind. Has anyone else had a tool or material they were wrong about?

Saw a huge difference in visibility after switching to a new comms system
