Found my old half-built guitar amp in the garage last weekend
I started building a tube amp kit from StewMac back in 2019, got the chassis wired, then just stopped. Pulling it out, I saw my notes and the bag of resistors still sitting there. That project used to be my whole focus after work. What's a good first step to get back into a stalled electronics build?

Just clean the chassis first... dust in old solder joints can cause problems later.

Ugh, is it just me or does that dusty old solder joint problem always show up at the worst time? I learned that lesson the hard way on a project last year. Spent hours trying to fix a bad connection before I realized it was just full of gunk. Cleaning it first saves so much headache later, lol.
