Am I the only one who just replaced their 100th drip irrigation emitter?
It felt wild to count them all, but it really showed how our old Albuquerque clay just eats through those plastic parts. What's the longest you've gotten a zone to last before a total rebuild?

Dude, that's a crazy number! My old place had the same clay soil and it was brutal. I swear the longest any zone went was maybe two seasons before something major gave out. Honestly started just buying those parts in bulk because the trips to the store got old fast.

Bulk buying was the only way to survive. The real trick was keeping a spare valve box in the garage for emergencies.
