Noticed a huge difference in my water bill after swapping out all the old showerheads in my NE Heights house.

My bill went from about $120 a month to under $80 after I installed those low-flow ones from the hardware store, and that was just over the last billing cycle.

It's wild how much those old showerheads waste. My parents never changed theirs and their bill was always crazy high. Makes you wonder what else in the house is just burning money.

My grandma's 1980s fridge still runs, but it uses three times the power of a new Energy Star model. The insulation breaks down over decades, so the compressor works overtime. Old freezers are even worse if the door seals get brittle.

Honestly it's crazy how much old stuff just bleeds money without you even knowing. Like @cooper.max said about old fridges, it's the same with so many appliances and fixtures. You don't realize the waste until you finally swap them out.
