Gotta hard disagree on this one. That time you spent is worth way more than 150 bucks. You learned a skill you can use forever and didn't just throw money at a problem. The next leaky faucet will take you 20 minutes. That's a huge win in my book.

Remember that old car my dad refused to fix? He said the noise built character. Drove us all crazy for a year. Finally fixed it himself, took a weekend. Now he acts like a genius mechanic. Some people just get a weird pride from the struggle.
