Just realized I've spent over $2,000 on replacement keys in the last five years.

I was cleaning out my junk drawer and found a pile of key fob receipts from the dealership. I lock myself out of my truck at least twice a year, and the last time cost me $380. Is this just a me problem, or is there a cheaper way to be this forgetful?

Watched my buddy go through this last summer. He locked his keys in his work van three times in one month. The last time, he was at a job site an hour from town and had to call a mobile locksmith who charged him almost five hundred bucks. He finally bought a magnetic key box and hid it under the wheel well.
