Rant: Forgot my wallet at home during a lunch run and held up the whole line
I was at this busy deli in Portland called Otto's last Thursday, starving after a morning move. Got to the register with a pastrami sandwich and chips, reached for my wallet, and realized it was sitting on my nightstand. The cashier just stared at me while the line of 8 people behind me sighed loudly. I had to ask them to put the order on hold and walked out empty-handed, then drove 20 minutes round trip to grab it. Has anyone else done something this boneheaded in public?

Did you ever have that one friend who kept going on about weird stuff you didn't get, then years later you're basically them? I used to roll my eyes at people who collected random vinyl records, but now I have a whole shelf of em and I'm always hunting for more. It's funny how life just kinda flips your tastes upside down like that lol.
