Hot take: feeding the AI tool my messy 2 year old meeting notes cut cleanup from 3 hours to 20 minutes
I run the front desk paperwork for a small dental office in Fresno and for two years I have been dumping every staff meeting into one big messy doc. Half scrapped sentences, names misspelled, people talking over each other in the transcript. Cleaning it up for the monthly email used to eat almost 3 hours on a Sunday. Two weeks ago I dropped the whole thing into one of those summary tools and told it to pull out action items and who owns them. The difference was nuts. It spit out a clean list in about 20 minutes, and when I checked it against the raw notes it caught two follow ups I had completely missed. The one catch is it still gets names wrong when two people have similar first names, so I have to skim for that. Has anyone found a trick for locking in the correct names before it summarizes?
