Sat through a 2 hour demo at the Toledo expo last month and the AI tool straight up made up a part number that doesn't exist
The sales guy kept saying 'it's basically magic' while the thing hallucinated specs for a breaker panel I work with daily, so now I double check every single AI suggestion before it goes anywhere near a customer's job, and I'm wondering if anyone else has caught their AI assistant just inventing stuff out of thin air.

Man, a wrong part number is a typo, not some deep crisis. People have been fat fingering spec sheets and catalogs since forever, and you already caught it before it hit a customer. Just keep doing what you're doing and move on.
