Talked to my kid's teacher about AI in the classroom
She said they use a tool called 'Diffit' to make reading stuff easier for every kid. It changes the words to fit each student's level. I always thought AI was just for big tech stuff. Hearing it helps in a real school in Tacoma changed my view. Anyone know of other simple AI tools teachers are using?

Wait, does that actually work well for the kids? I always pictured AI in schools as some complicated thing for grading or planning. Hearing it helps with reading levels in a real classroom makes it feel way more useful. It's cool to see it doing something simple but important. I guess I figured it was all about robots and self-driving cars. This kind of story totally changes how I think about it.
