Tried LLaMA 3.1 vs GPT-4o for summarizing legal docs, the gap is real
I spent last weekend feeding 40 pages of contracts from my landlord's lawyer into both models. LLaMA 3.1 caught every clause about rent hikes and pet rules, but GPT-4o missed two key deadlines buried in the fine print. The open source model did it in 3 minutes with zero cost, while GPT-4o took 7 and charged me $1.20. Anyone else tested these side by side on messy real world docs?
