Hit 47 air fryer recipes tried in 6 months and number 47 was the one that finally worked
Back in January I made a list of every air fryer recipe I wanted to test and told myself I would actually cook through all of them instead of just saving links. Last night I crossed off number 47, which was a crispy chickpea snack I had skipped like five times because I thought it would turn out mushy. Tossed them with a little oil, curry powder, and salt, ran them at 390 for 12 minutes, and shook the basket halfway, and they came out crunchy all the way through. My husband tried one and said it was better than the bagged kind from the store, which honestly never happens in this house. Now I have 8 recipes left on the list, so what is the one air fryer dish you keep putting off because you think it will fail?
47 recipes is wild, the fact that chickpeas were your last holdout makes sense though because they really do seem like they'd go mushy. My thing is hash browns, since frozen ones in the air fryer either come out perfect or like sad pale shreds and I refuse to waste a whole batch finding out which. Honestly the bigger test is your husband saying they beat the store kind, that's basically the gold medal.
