Three months of air fryer wings changed my game completely

I used to think oven baked wings were fine, but they always came out kinda soggy on the bottom. Then I got an air fryer last December and tried making wings at 380 degrees for 25 minutes. The difference was NIGHT and day - crispy all over, juicy inside, no flipping needed. Last week I did a batch for a party and people thought they were deep fried. I just used baking powder and salt for the coating, nothing fancy. Has anyone else noticed how much better reheated wings are in the air fryer vs microwave?

Got my air fryer two years ago and the first thing I did was wings, 375 for 22 minutes with a dusting of cornstarch instead of baking powder. Worked great, but then I got carried away and tried making a whole chicken in there. Let me tell you, that was a mess. The thing was too small for a full bird, juice went everywhere, and I spent an hour cleaning grease off the counter. Still, for wings, nuggets, and even leftover pizza slices, the air fryer is the best thing since sliced bread. Reheated fries actually taste fresh, which is a miracle compared to the microwave turning them into rubber.

Honestly, I feel your pain on the whole chicken thing, @the_wade - I tried that same move and ended up with a greasy mess that took forever to clean up. Tbh, air fryers are perfect for small batches like wings or reheating, but they just aren't built for big jobs like that. Ngl, you live and you learn though, and those crispy fries alone make the whole thing worth it.
