Old timer told me I was stripping screw heads wrong on a DC-9 last month
I was working a panel on an old DC-9 and this 30 year vet saw me using a standard Phillips on a cross head screw and just shook his head. He showed me how to use a parallel tip and said the angle of attack matters way more than speed. Any of you guys switch to parallel tips for all your sheet metal work?

Why bother when a good old Phillips has worked fine for 40 years?

Agree completely. Had mine 30 years and it still works perfect.
