The old hydraulic test bench at Eastern Air Center

Stopped by Eastern Air Center in Tulsa last week to pick up parts and noticed they still had that old manual hydraulic test bench from the 80s sitting in the corner. The gauges were beat up and the hoses were patched, but the lead mechanic said they trust it more than the new digital rig for small actuators. Has anyone else run into old equipment that just refuses to die, and do you keep using it or finally swap it out?
