Question about quitting my Friday gig at the diner after the manager called my tips 'a bonus, not real pay'
I was ready to walk out that night in Austin, but then I compared my crumpled $60 tip jar to the $90 I made the one time I picked up a bartending shift next door, and that $30 gap made me realize I should quit the diner and ask the bar for steady weekends, so does anyone else regret sticking with the smaller jar for 8 months?
