Appreciation post: the guy at the anime club meetup in Akron who told me to stop ranking shows before I finish them
He said I was calling stuff mid after 3 episodes and he was right, so I went back and finished 5 shows I had dropped. Two of them ended up as favorites (one took until episode 9 to click) and now I don't rate anything until the credits roll. Anyone else have a show that only worked after you stuck with it way longer than you wanted to?

Steins Gate is the classic one, first 10 or so episodes are slow and then it hits hard. I tell everyone to just push through to episode 12 before they quit on it.
