My buddy Dave had a full blown fight with his roommate last month over the Ghibli dubs. They were watching Howl's Moving Castle and Dave's roommate just kept going on about Christian Bale's voice work, saying it ruined the mood. Dave snapped back that the original Japanese had way more feeling, and it turned into this whole thing about "artistic intent." Felt like Robert Craig was right, these debates just pop up and wreck a chill movie night. They didn't speak for two days over it.
